This photo was of 2006 Triple Bypass Ride from Evergreen to Avon, CO, over 3 11,000 plus passes and covering 126 miles. Did it with Don Hanson, pictured behind me, in 8 hrs 30 minutes in a cold rain, snow and 40-50 degrees. Uggh!! We were part of the less than 1000 finishers of 3500 that started the ride in Evergreen. We finished this ride in memory of Phil Stevenson, my friend, who died on this cold ride. God Bless this wonderful man and athlete.
