Day 5
Bob finally got out of Norton, but didn't leave until 2pm due to rain all morning long. When the rain clear and it was just cloudy, he took off. He got 66 miles in, believe it or not, by 6pm. They are in a little town called Franklin in Nebraska on 136. You can click the map link to see their whereabouts. Bob was able to ride pretty fast today. His first 30 miles averaged about 24 mph. There were lots of hills later which slowed him a bit but he still managed to average 20.4 mph overall. As of tonight, there are clear skies and hopefully they hold out through Bob's ride tomorrow.
