Rain Delay in Norton, KS

Hi Everybody, We arrived yesterday in Norton, KS in our covered wagon, just ahead of the tornado warnings and hail. I was in the drug store, Bob was across the street when the hail hit and the sirens went off. He was protected by the building and the drugstore had a basement. The storm finally let up but we noticed our bed was all wet so we found a laundromat and dried the down comforter and went to a covered car wash so Bob could tighten up the air conditioner leak. That's about when I got out the wine. We know the town well and are still waiting for the rain to stop. It's giving his legs and butt a rest. Small towns are interesting as everyone knows everyone and they're kind of interested in what we are doing. I'm also learning to like "country music". Thanks to Nicki and Tony for this great site, including the Habitat link, weather map, and our location in Anton (it was literally a cross road, grain elevator and country store). Love, Sherrie and Bikerbob
