Rain & Very High Wind Delay

Family & Friends, It's library, blog & email time again! We are delayed another day in Winterset, IA due to a huge thunderstorm heading near us causing very high wind (25-35 mph & gusts today up to 60 mph) just to dangerous to ride on a two-lane road without paved shoulders. I am anxious to get going again, however Sherrie has not been in all the stores yet and is enjoying another day off. We both picked up a sore throat last night and are hopeful this "cold" won't slow our pace. I am really looking forward to Illinois for less hilly terrain. Thanks for following our trek. Have you found any postcards yet? I hope your weather looks better for tomorrow. Too much more delay and you'll miss helping us move! Hope your sore throats are better. Keep on trekin', BikerBob! SIM

I'm so sorry you both aren't feeling 100%, I guess if it was just a straight shot without wind or hills and perfect health there woudln't be much excitement in that, huh?! haha. Hope you feel better today. It looks like the wind has finally died down a bit.
